Western Tube History

Western Tube was established in Oakland, California, in 1964 to thread rigid metal conduit. In 1966, we added a facility in Vernon, California, and installed a tube mill to produce electrical conduit. We acquired our present facility, located in Long Beach, California, in 1975.

Since then, we’ve added multiple tube mills, a galvanizing facility, and cutting and finishing operations, making us the largest manufacturer of steel conduit on the West Coast. Our headquarters, factory and main warehouse in Long Beach now occupy 420,000 square feet across 21 acres. We also have numerous warehouse and distribution facilities across the United States to MAKE IT eZ for customers to receive next-day deliveries.
