To manufacture our high-quality EMT, we use low-carbon strip steel that is electric-resistance welded into tubing and then in-line galvanized for superior rust protection. The conduit is then coated with a low-friction organic polymer inside and out to resist corrosion and make feeding wires easier. Before leaving our facility, our EMT undergoes testing to ensure it bends easily without kinking, flattening, flaking or cracking.

Western Tube’s 20′ steel EMT cuts connection costs by 50% by using half the couplings required for traditional lengths — and installs in half the time.
Western Tube Conduit Kits — EMT with a preassembled set screw or compression coupling — allow for fast, easy installation of long runs. Plus, the combination can be detached and reassembled as needed, saving material costs and eliminating waste.
